Sea freight delays: Germany–Korea now 38–45 days via Cape of Good Hope
Middle East conflict has made Suez Canal transit unavailable since March 2026. Germany-to-Korea sea freight is now rerouted via the Cape of Good Hope, extending LCL transit from 25 days to 38–45 days. If your delivery is time-sensitive, please select DHL Express or Air Standard instead.
Important: Korea customs strictly prohibiting all meat and meat products
Korean customs has intensified inspection of EU-origin parcels from Q1 2026. All meat products — including ham, sausage, salami, prosciutto, canned meat, and beef jerky — are completely prohibited from entering Korea. Parcels containing these items are confiscated and destroyed without compensation. Do not include meat products in any shipment.
New: Switzerland precious metal control (PMC) regulations from April 2026
Switzerland has introduced new Precious Metal Control (PMC) regulations affecting shipments containing gold, silver, platinum, or palladium jewellery or components. Shipments to Switzerland must now declare the precious metal content and fineness. Items without proper declarations will be held at Swiss customs. Contact support if you plan to ship jewellery to Switzerland.
Warehouse optional services updated: photo and consolidation pricing
Warehouse optional services have been updated. Photo Service: Standard (3–4 exterior photos, EUR 1.50) and Premium (detailed inspection photos including item count verification or signature check, EUR 4.00). Parcel Consolidation: combine multiple EU parcels into one Korea-bound box to reduce international shipping costs. Request these services from My Page after intake.
